Heimatklänge (Echoes of home)

Regular price €5.00

What does the crying of a baby have in common with the echo of a yodeler in the mountains? What is the connection between the falsetto of a Tuvan nomad and the performance of a vocal artist?
Heimatklänge is a film about the most primal of instruments, the human voice, portraying three artists who develop traditional Swiss music in very different and unconventional ways: Christian Zehnder, Erika Stucky and Noldi Alder. They are united by their love for their heimat, filling the Alps and the Mittelland with their extraordinary voices.
Sound and image fit stunningly together in this one-of-a-kind documentary.
