He is well known for his multiple collaborations with directors Steven Soderbergh (Solaris, Contagion) and Nicolas Winding Refn (Only God Forgives), both of which are represented on this album, as are some of his works for other directors including the likes of Paul McGuigan (Wicker Park) and Robert Redford (The Company You Keep).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnique to this album, many of the pieces have been newly adapted for symphonic orchestra under the supervision of Film Fest Gent music director Dirk Brossé.
